About Us

Legacy Corner Farm is located in Zeeland Michigan about 10 miles just off the shore of Lake Michigan, about 30 minutes West of Grand Rapids.  We are located on the corner of two main streets on a farm that has been in our family since the mid 1800's.  These two facts have given us our farm name!

My husband Jack and I have raised our 4 children on this farm since 2009.  Over the years our children have enjoyed raising animals for 4H projects and have even gone on to breed and raise Boer Goats for other 4H families.  

Our three daughters and one son are now married. We were recently blessed with twin granddaughters so we now have 8 grandchildren under 4!  We are blessed to have our children and grandchildren around our farm often.  I usually split many of my days between flower farming and being grandma.

Though most of the flower farming is left to myself, Beth.  My husband Jack is my biggest supporter, my chief weeder, repair man, and in general the muscle behind the farm.  By day he is an engineer at a local company but nights and Saturdays he works almost as many hours for me on the farm!  

Together Jack and I have built Legacy Corner Farm, LLC.  We went from offering hundreds of pumpkins roadside for many years as a hobby with our kids to pay for Christmas gifts into becoming the first cut flower farm in the our area offering a professional road side flower stand all summer. We opened our roadside flower stand in 2018.  In 2025 Jack built me a beautiful more permanent stand.

I now specialize in Peonies and Dahlias.  Including shipping Dahlia tubers nationwide, which I have done since 2019.  I also provide bouquet subscriptions to many offices and individuals around the Holland and Zeeland area.  I have become known in the area for my long lasting quality bouquets that people will drive miles for!  On our farm Jack also offers eggs and occasionally fruits and vegetables along with my bouquets at our roadside stand.  

I also love to give back to our community each August through fundraising efforts for Hope Pkgs, a local organization that provides first night backpacks for children and teens that are put into foster care.  If you would like to know the story of how I began my "Flowers for Fosters" efforts I would love to share it with you sometime!  God spoke to me in an amazing way with my flowers and two little boys in the foster care system.  Watch for events on our Facebook page that will benefit Hope Pkgs over the summer!
